BG, No, I've had a regular key safe that is pretty strong, but no fire protection for probably 30 years. Since I was a teenager.
This one is 900 pounds, empty...It will hold 26 long guns if you set it up that way. It has a flexible interior though that will allow 16 or 20 on one side and then shelves on the other. Small boys rifles and such can slip in and don't count in the total.
I only have one gun but wanted to give it a nice home
