I see no advantage...Cowboy Shooters, ( Wanna Be Champions), want to shoot quicker without practicing, so they will install one piece firing pins, short stroke kits.
True Champions will be at ya with stock guns, because they know their equipment, coupled with developed skills.

The end result is, they will develope a problem sooner or later; sometimes the new measures will allow a out of battery detonation, because the removal of certain safeguards. This is more evident in the 1873 and 1866 toggle link Winchester replica's. BUT the potential is still there. I have personally witnessed two out of battery Detonations on Marlins from these one piece Firing pins and alterations. Low velocity Cowboy ammo did no real damage except shake the nerves of the shooter and get a stern warning from the Timer Operator.

The cartridge case was kaput..LOL..Doing this on a 336/'95, where you have high velocity rifle calibers could be a whole new experience.

There is no substitute for practice, I don't care many whistles and bells you have on your firearm.

I guess I still don't get what it is supposed to do for you, or the gun.

doesn`t sound like it would be practical or advantageous for a 30-30 hunting rifle..

Oh boy. That's got to be a marginal improvement if any. Don't think I need that kind of ragged-edge performance.

One piece firing pins defeat an inherent and effective safety feature of the Marlin action.

Eli if I understand it correctly the two piece firing pin won`t allow the gun to fire until its completely locked into battery
