Jim, being somewhat bankrupted with the English language, call me or come by. I can show you how I put mine on a board for hat racks and such. OK, I'll try. Cut the base and whatever part of the antler that touches the board on the same plane. Then screw from the back side through the wood and into the antler. Makes for invisible attachment and a handsome hat rack when done. The board can be most anything you want. Usually I've got a 1X12 pine or some such laying around. By making multiple flats on the antler, you have more surface area for both stability and attaching. Steve.
