    Not changeing the subject but anybody remember the old remingtonbronze point?.Dad had a couple boxes of reloads in 06. he swore by em. Got one of Elmer keiths books, he swore at em the guy sold me these siver tips I got for 20 bucks for four boxes.. I felt bad and gave him 30. Randy,,

    Have not used them on Deer, but my wife bought me a box of 170 g from Walmart and they shot real well at the range. Will be sticking with 170 core lokts when I go hunting.

    No trees were harmed in the construction of this post. However a large number of electrons were indiscriminately aroused.

    My dad was a fan of Silvertips. He used them exclusively in his 30-30 and 35 Remington. He shot a lot of deer with them and I never heard a complaint. I used them in the 35 Remington years ago, and I just happened to get some 170 gr 30-30 bullets for reloading that I'm going to try with my pet load of H4895.
