Hello Riflemen-Here in Oregon we take great pride in our shooting abilities. With the exception of dla maybe. I can shoot the middle left foot off a deer fly at 75 yards with my 45-70 using a 405 grain bullet without touching the kogunfluke's hide or further harming the fly. How about you!Amoung the best,

Howdy Boys.

Bestlever,
Well on a good day, I can shoot the "little toe" off the middle foot of a deer fly at 100 yards without even touching the other seven toes on the middle foot. I can do this feat with my 444 with a 220 grain softpoint.
***See, I bet that most of you didn't know that a deer fly had 8 toes on each foot, did you?
BUT.....as I said, That is on a good day. Unfortunately I haven't had one of the good days in the past half century!! The truth is I could shoot much better when I was 14-30 years old but I have trouble holding the gun still anymore. I am all over a 6" dia circle even at 100 yards anymore. Unfortunately my eyes are not what they used to be because of these dang bi-focals. Well, the bi-focals do beat having to use a seeing-eye dog I guess. I just enjoy getting out in the woods whether I am hunting or not.
Keep up your good posting Bestlever as I enjoy you and Jayco sharing your good times with the rest of us. But I still don't know about that CoW-A-Socky motorcycle.

I can shoot the toenail off of the middle toe of the middle foot of the middle leg of the beast. I bet you didn't know that they had 7 feet per leg either.
Now that is good shooting !!
