We may be going from bad to worst. Or maybe not, who knows.

Taurus makes a fine firearm, this can only be a good thing.
As someone who works for a company that the owner of said company never wanted, working for, and having a product produced by, a company that actually *WANTS* you is superior.
Taurus has definately had a few hiccups, but I've had several of their guns and personally haven't had any problems. I've also had a few Braztech Rossis, and all have been good guns. They ain't Browning, but I bet they ain't any worse than Cerberus.

I personally do not like Taurus firearms. They have had a lot of problems from what I have heard from people who owned them in the past and present.
One of our stores (Bob Wards-Missoula.) out here in Montana will not be carrying Taurus guns from what we were told by several employees. They are trying to sell or did sell all or most of their Taurus firearms. We heard this late summer - last autumn.
FREEDOM ARMS and Freedom Group are two different things. You might need to change the title of your thread on EDIT POST - Go advanced - editing.
I nothing but trouble with Taurus and they did not help. I have had gunsmiths tellme notto bring them in because Taurus would not send them parts for the guns. One gun shop here will not sell them.
I would like to see a group of people BUY Marlin and start making Marlin firearms again, not made by Remington, so that company could rise up again and be what it was when they were MADE IN CT by good people.
My former, old and well known gun store back in the Great Lakes region did not like Taurus way back when.
I think that they still do not like them from what I was told by old friends. I live in Montana now.
I have heard a few good things about SOME Rossi rifles but I personally never owned one.
I've owned about 15 various taurus pistols and never had a priblem with one of them. I even owned one of the .45 colt pump rifles they made and greatly enjoyed it. Most shops around here make most of there money selling taurus firearms. IMO marlin would be better off with taurus than with remington, I also imagine they would keep production here in the U.S. rather than moving it to a new facility in brazil.
