I wanted to share some info. about Graf & Sons shipping notice. When you call you will hear a prompt stating that due to high demand they are shipping 7-10 days behind schedule due to high volume of orders right now.
I placed an order with them on Jan. 2nd. --called this AM---they hope it will ship out the end of this week-over 21 days later.
I'm not bad mouthing Graf''s in any way--in normal times I usually have my items in 4-5 business days--just a heads up for lead times if you plan to order from them.

Well Erik, after a couple of doctor appointments after a ten hour day, I took the time to look up the "Skinner Alaskan." I have never seen one but that thing looks "boss." I really like that Erik and I'm betting the family fortune (about $32.00) that you will be able to tune that in and hit whatever it is you want to. I really like the longer sight radius so let us know what you think about that advantage.
Good order my friend ...![]()

Bought a mint 336A 30-30 and about 4 boxes of Winchester Power Point 170 grain 30-30 rounds last week. 170 grain 30-30 ammo is now hard to find in all brands but 150s are still available--I just don't shoot'em. Also picked up about 100 rounds of Winchester 22LR before everything sold out between the LGS and big box stores here. Bought a Ruger 380 auto LCP (first pistol purchase for me in about 25 years!) two weeks back and finally got to put it through its paces yesterday. I was surprised how accurate it is at 15 yards--got a 2.5 inch group using the small low profile iron sights. So I bought three more boxes of 380 today as it is getting hard to find. The run on ammo and guns is still going on here in central VA!

Ret Eng ... first, thank you for your service!
You are doing great ... Marlin with ammo, Ruger LCP with ammo, and some .22 rounds. The few 30-30's I ever owned never did well with the 150gr rounds.

I've been stocking up on primers, bullets, powder and ammo since the great shortage of 2009. But, I just added a Lee turret press to my bench and finding that was a bit of a voyage. First I bought what I could locally which wasn't very much. Then I checked out FSreloading as the suggestion of MO and got some more components for my set up. But I couldn't find the press itself until I found Titan Reloading and got the balance of my stuff there. Got it all set up last weekend and loaded up a bunch of .357. Very nice.

I never had any luck with the 150s either--tried just about all the main brands. My 30-30 336 Marlins either like the 170 grain Winchesters or Remingtons--but my Model 30s like the newer Hornady 160 grain LEs. A bunch of people here in VA must prefer the 170s in their lever guns--didn't think I would see a run on my favorite 30-30 ammo!
