My mom, late 70's had one done 3 months ago and has the other one scheduled for July. The more you work at Rehab the better. Sent a prayer your way for quick and complete recovery.

I hope all goes well for you. My old neighbor had his knee done a while back and he's as good as new.

I watched a friend of my wifes dance a jig after having both knees replaced. She could barely walk for years. She said "do your rehab" also. Good luck! We'll hold down the "444" fort probably with Dave "VTDW"in the lead. Give those 45/70 guys an opening and no telling what they will come up with. Our prayers are with you. Rick

Coyote Hunter has a good suggestion. I hope that all goes well with your surgery and know that we are sending our 444 Prayers to you and your family. They should get there before you log off tonight. You have many good people here that will be wishing you a speedy recovery.

With todays knee replacements patients do quite well. I just had a patient in his early 80's who a total knee and was in the hospital for less than a week. He did very well with physicial therapy and went home. Quite an interesting gent. He was with the 7th ID and was WIA on Okinawa. I enjoyed sitting down in his room while on rounds BS-ing with him.

There could be a down side to this though...Tubby will expect you to pack out the game, since you have a new knee
