This fall wife and I are towing our 5er out to Wyoming, Utah national parks, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma. I will definitely be AVOIDING commie Colorado, I originally would have been going to there also but those commies wont get any of my money. My CCW license is good for most states I will be in. I also will never set foot in the ( Republic of Kalifornia ). I guess there is a lot of parks to see other than Yosemite. Last fall went to Glacier, Canadian Rockies, had to leave pistols at gunsmith in Whitefish MT. they got trigger jobs while there and picked them up on way thru to Yellowstone park. Any state that is not gun friendly will be on my NO VISIT LIST.

I was going thru the warehouse looking at what's there and I decided it is time for us to start a "Deal of the Day". This, of course, is assuming I find the time each day to do this, lol. We buy lots of demos, close-outs and assorted deals and sometimes we buy demos from a few different shows and wind up with enough to do what i am doing here, offering a crazy cheap deal on something awesome.

The Zeiss Conquest Duralyt 2-8x42 - Non-Illuminated Reticle - Matte Black #525411-9906 sells for $999.99 so offering a demo @ $699.99 is a fantastic deal (at least we think so) on a top quality scope.

Made in Germany Zeiss has three 30mm tube, European style variable power riflescopes that make the decision for premium optics easier than ever. They are characterised by their distinctive design and outstanding price performance ratio...but Duralyt offers more:
Uncompromising ruggedness and accuracy in optics and mechanics – the essentials for successful aiming and safe shooting.

Duralyt 2-8x42 - The compact all-rounder
The sleek and compact Duralyt 2–8x42 provides bright images in twilight and allows for very precise sighting – both on the shooting range and in the hunting grounds – even over distances exceeding 200 yards. Being as short as the Duralyt 1.2 – 5 x 36, it offers the optimum medium magnification range, which is preferred by experienced hunters when stalking or hunting in unfamiliar terrain.

Morning all,

I've been looking at getting a Marlin 1895 GBL ever since it was first announced. Of course, as soon as you scrape the money together for a gun on your list... it's gone.
Since January, I've scoured every gun shop in Ca. and every online site, to no avail. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm currently in Calif. Just a man desperately seeking out his first lever action after shooting my Grandfather's years ago.

Thanks.

The finish isn't bad, just a couple little chips in it and some small dents in the wood. Wondering if I can just strip the original finish with CitriStrip and then apply a TruOil finish? I really don't want to sand it as the fit is excellent and I don't think it's necessary. Also, would doing this harm whatever collector value the rifle has? Thanks in advance.

This guy walks in a bar and starts to drink....At the opposite end of the bar is a huge 40ft long dining table with multiple beautiful blond headed woman sitting at it.....They are all celebrating as if they just won the lottery. Giving each other high-fives, slapping each other on the butt, hooping and hollering, its a real celebration...The man is intrigued....Every 2 or 3 minutes, another beautiful blonde walks through the door, and as soon as she's seen by the other women at the table, they start screaming in excitement, hugging one another, high-fives all around....This goes on and on, every couple mins. a new blonde walks in and the celebration raises to a fever pitch....The man is confounded...He notices that at the head of the table, is what seems to be, the leader of the group. So he decides to walk over and ask about the "occasion"....He strides over to the "head" blonde at the end of the table and says, "Yes ma'am, sorry to bother you, I'm just curious what the celebration is all about. You all look so happy."....The blonde arrogantly stands up, shoulders back, obviously very proud of an accomplishment unbeknown to the curious man....Then she looks right at him and says, "See that completed puzzle in the middle of the table?" The man looks and sees a puzzle of a stately looking horse, completed in the middle of the grand table...She then says, "The girls and I have completed that puzzle in 2 DAYS!." What do you think about that?" The man confounded, just gives the women an odd look, and right when he gets ready to respond, the leader interrupts him and says, "Girls, hand me the box to the puzzle." She looks at the man and says," We completed this puzzle in 2 DAYS!.............The box plainly says, right there in the corner, 4-6 years!"
