D-rings and studs for the Sling...

I just got my first Marlin 336 and I would like to put a sling on it. Can someone help me out and tell me where I can buy all the parts I need to do the job? I been all over the web but I must be missing where to go...

This may be what you are looking for, unless you already have the QD sling swivel studs on your rifle.

I think you hit the nail on the head for me Tom. Don't know why I couldn't find that on my own. I searched Brownells & Midway for a couple of hours. I guess I am blind in one eye and can't see out of the other one. Thanks a million..

Thanks h-bomb for your reply too...

Where's the proper place to drill and install the rear stud? Is there one, or is it personal preference?

Hey there Wakko -- Somewhere between the bulls eye and the toe. Most seem to be about 2" in from the toe. Hope this helps. Best regards. Wind
