I'm getting into Cowboy Action Shooting. I started with .44 magnum, a Old model Vaquero and super Blackhawk, and a 1892 Rossi. I had purchased a Old model Vaquero in .45 LC when they first came out. I found it's twin brother with a holster and tooled belt. I've been looking at the 1873 replicas and not wanting to spend the heavy price for one just to start, not to mention all the money for tuning her up. It was a happy day this afternoon when I went to pick up my .45 Vaquero's twin. I was complaining how expensive that the 1873 replicas are, when the owner of the shop told me that a .45 rifle had just come in on consignment today. He brought out an 1894 cowboy limited in .45. It is unfired in the box, jm proofed, with a hint of wood finish problem on the buttstock. I gave $550. for it. I am very excited to shoot her but I have to wait for a while for all the legal paperwork to clear. I think I done good

I pass up the 45 limiteds all the time for $800. Some get wise and drop their price and finally sell it.
