Too much for me but may be a bargain to someone else.
I have to agree. What drives the price of the 32 up so much lately? I remember pricing not too many years back where you could get one for a song and a dance.
I don't have it yet, but I bought one off the SASS Wire classifieds last week for $725. He started out asking $899, didn't get any bites, so he dropped it to $725. I hope to get it next week. He had his alias laser-engraved in the stock, I have another stock I'll put on it.
When you get the rifle could you post a picture of the lase engraved stock? We are contemplating a rifle as a retirement gift, engraving the stock might be an idea. I would like to see what this looked like.

A government is merely a body of men, usually noticeably ungoverned.
Ginger or MaryAnn?
Will do Miller. I actually have a couple that I have changed out when I got used rifles with them on. I don't mind if it's just a Western scene or an eagle's head, but if it has someone else's name on it I will change it. There is a place here locally that does the laser engraving and it looks nice. If you decide to get it done I'll give you their info.
Yep, I got Brockman to do the conversion, it feeds them fast, and it feeds them slow. I really like the peep sights he put on it, makes it a lot easier to shoot accurately. I have been back in Afghanistan for 7 months now and when I get home I am sending another two to him for the conversion!! I just wish a bolt action rifle would show up, like a Ruger 77/357 but in 327!!
