    Newbie stock removal question

    I have an 1895 CB and am trying to take the stock off to get to the innerds of the rifle. I took out the main big screw and thought that the stock would come right off but it is on there pretty good and I don't want to do anything crazy stupid just yet.....what am I missing to take the stock off. This is the first time for taking the stock off.

    It sounds like you have a very good stock fit. You could have lacquer or debris making it sticky. A little wiggle should be all it needs to loosen up.

    That's what it was...the stock is now off and my heart rate is returning to normal. Thanks for the quick reply!!!
