    cleaning corroded cartridge cases

This past weekend, I attended a gun show and found a box of primed Western .44-40 cases circa 1950's. Some of the cases had a bit of corrosion on them so I cleaned them with G96 Case cleaner which I have found works really well.

That is excellent! What is your source for this stuff? Is it made just for wacko collectors like us, or does it have another purpose?

Wow! That stuff works great! Cleaning collectibles can be tricky and it looks as though the G96 does its job without scratching the brass. Over zealous cleaning can look tacky and possibly ruin rare and valuable cartridges. Thanks for the tip. Cheers!
