    Man, my mother used to make homemade chicken and dumplings, with these bigass homemade noodles in there too. The noodles were 1/4" thick, I swear! Man, I'd kill for some of that now. Even just the recipe. My mama was a COOK, by god! Comfort food was her forté.

    For this coon-azz there is nothing better then a "Chicken Stew" with creme style corn and those jalapeno Hawaiian buns!
    Next is smothered chicken with potatoes and whole boiled egg thrown in!
    Any gumbo!
    After grazing, it's peach cobbler!

    Lunch: Fried Kentucky Round Steak, then placed on buttered bread with swiss cheese and grilled, with Cream of Tomato soup with saltine or oyster crackers.

    Dinner: Chicken Ala King with Bisquick drop biscuits
    Hungarian Goulash with buttered wide egg noodles, lima beans on the side
    Crockpot chicken stew with dumplings
    Cincinnati chili over spaghetti with minced white onion and a big pile of grated sharp cheddar cheese on top
    Beef Okra Soup or Senate Ham and Bean soup

    Cast iron pan fried or grilled ribeye, mashed potatoes, asparagus.
    Fried or broiled snook, grouper, or hogfish sammich, homemade coleslaw, big dill pickle on the side.
    Baked BBQ bacon wrapped shrimp, big salad.
    Cast iron pan fried large or jumbo scallops (biggest I can get), salad, sauteed spinach.
    Linguini or fettucini with homemade bolognese, salad, crusty bread.
    2 or 3 doz oysters, crackers, homemade cocktail sauce, lotsa horseradish.
