Does your mount cover up the two rear holes in the receiver? I was thinking on some Skinner peep sights, and maybe combining them with a reflex would be a good idea..

Hey Jonny V, Yes the mounting rail pretty much uses all four holes on the top of the receiver.I guess a little ingenuity and a person could cut the rail down to use only two of the four holes, but the rail would hide any sight picture from the peeps,if I understand what you are trying do.Anyway, here are some closer shots, and you can decide.I do have skinners on my 336,which are great. But these truglo reflex are better suited for lowlight conditions. If you do anything, take some pics.Like to see what you come up with.

Wow, you've got the same gaps around the rear of your receiver (corners) I do. So, if you have to use up all the mounting holes, is there any way to mount that sight lower to the barrel, or are you stuck with the rail?

pretty much stuck with the rail for now.I suppose you could cut the rail down to two holes,as that is all the sight needs to hold it in place.you can slide it back n forth on th rail a little, too.

The pistol is a S&W sigma 9v.Mags wont swap on this particular pistol, but they do with a S&W 5906 or 6906.Older model LEO type semi-autos,before the polymer stuff got popular.Im on the hunt for one right now.

do the drilled and tapped holes for the camp 9 match those on a 336 if so you could use the same sight mounting eqpt.
