    Need some feedback on site

Has anyone ever bought a kit from this site? http://www.ar15-kits.com/
They seem to have good prices and according to their site they are quality but I'd still like to get some real world info on their products.

You might have a better response over at www.ar15.com , not to take anything away from we here at MO. They are pretty critical over there and if anyone had a bad experience you would probably find out very quickly.

Just looking at the site, you are buying the parts you want and having them build the parts into an upper (or whatever.) If you are handy with tools you can do the same and maybe have the final product for less money with the same components. On the surface it looks pretty reasonable...

Thanks , yeah I tried over there about 2 weeks ago and haven't received any response. Figured some of the members here played over there as well and I just might get lucky here. Who knows there may be an ar guru hiding in the wings here.

I've put together a couple lowers and had to take apart an upper to fix a canted barrel. So i'm pretty sure I can assemble the entire rifle without trouble and I have friends willing to test fire it for me

From what I understand AR's are the Legos of the firearm industry.

In the end, you will have to balance what you can get the parts for and have it assembled (and how adventurus you are if you do it yourself...) versus just buying a completed upper, etc. Getting one all fixed up and ready to drop on my lower is looking pretty appetizing right now to me, I don't have a whole lot of free time to tinker in the garage.
