i just recently acquired a 1851 navy and i am wondering what the best powder to use is and the best projectile, round balls or those conical ones. someone help?!?

I have been shooting pyrodex select in my revolvers lately. I cast RB and conicals using Lee molds. I shoot with wonder wads between the powder and bullet. I also use RB more than conicals as I can stretch my lead supply that way, and I think they are quicker to load as well. I have never chrony'd my loads. Don't own one actually. Leaves me more money for lead and powder .

.36 cal steel frame I use a .375 round ball & 15-18 grs of FFFg #11 cap the balls are Hornady.
