    777 pellets vs. loose powder?

I tried the pellets for the first time recently and was amazed at the increase in accuracy over loose powder. Anyone else experience this? This was with my Omega and T/Cs 295 gr. saboted bullets and Remington BP 209 primers. Ignition also seemed to be more rifle like(instantly) also?

My accuracy improves with the pellets as well. I suspect my powder measure might not be speaking the truth, but I don't know for sure yet. I have a NEF Huntsman and it seems to like 245 gr. Areo Tip Powerbelts. I tried the sabot types and they load so hard I gave up on them.

I never weighed the pellets, just took their word for them being 50 grains each?
I'm using 295 gr. Power Belts by T/C. and they load very easy. The actual bullet looks like pure copper?

I always heard to foul the barrel before shooting groups?

So, what would you take for that POS Encore 50 cal.? Maybe we can make a deal. Is it stainless or blue? PM me with details and your best shot, please?

Re: 777 pellets vs. loose powder?

Anyone ever use 777 in cap & balls? If so, how did it work out? I'm thinking about getting away from the Pyrodex P if there's something better.
    Aim Small.. Hit Small

What matters is marksmanship, shot selection, and bullet construction (mass, diameter and expansion behavior). These are things that don't tend to be found in ballistics tables

357 Magnum For when you just absolutely, positively have to shoot something.

Of course there's something better they call them 45 Colt , 357 MAG and 44 MAG
You forgot the best one, the 44-40

Didn't know it comes in a FFFg granulation. Looks like I've got a trip to Union City to visit Dixie Gun Works coming up.
