Nope, but I live 20 miles from Carrizozo. The deer are thickest on the ENE point were the unit boundary touches US 54 north of Carrizozo. It's a mix of state and BLM (public) land; you'll see lots of does, but will have to wait to see a fork antlered buck. There is lava flow (not huntable) on the SE end of the unit, and the north end is where the Tularosa Basin begins.

    Does that help at all?

Unit 18 Mule Deer Hunt 2013

Hey BOOM, I would like to know where you bagged your deer in Unit 18. I have been taking my daughter and wife out scouting for their hunt in that unit around Bingham and haven't seen a thing--only a few tracks and droppings as old as the hills. Any info or advice is greatly appreciated.
