I had heard of this show and saw commercials but had never watched it. Today I was at my parents dropping of my little boy and my mom had it turned on. I don't know any of their names but this one arrogant little kid was suppose to harvest a buck and 3 of them went hunting. Their hunting consisted of driving around in a big new Superduty and once locating a deer you get a lovely scene of this big Ford hauling butt across the field running towards the deer. Then after that the 3 are outside the truck and as the deer bounds away at a decent distance they all 3 just starting firing as much lead downrange as possible with obviously zero concern for making a clean kill and respecting the animal. Shortly there after the little fat kid finally got a deer and does his little victory celebration and such, again with no respect for the harvested animal. This scene absolutely turned my stomach and worries me that the dipsticks on the TV station are letting them portray hunting in such a way. And also one big thing that I don't get is what the heck is special about those morons anyway? They aren't kickin it Amish style like they make it seem. They work outside of town, have tractors, Superduties, electricity, microwaves, etc etc. They cuss an awful lot. I don't get it.

Sounds like it has as much to do with hunting and real life as Fat Rosie O'![]()

I think those videos are paid for by the anti-gun groups...just trying to sway public opinion with a false image....those folks believe a lie that furthers their agenda is OK...kind of like the wall streeters/banks/ins companies...and on and on...not much honor left in these Uninted States....
Remember, there is no reality in reality TV.
And yes, I do beleive this type of crud is part of the Anti-Gun, Anti-hunting agenda. TV Land is run from southern California, land of fruits and nuts.

I never saw the show, but as far as that definition of hunting, it is probably more common than many of us choose to acknowledge. I have seen it enough to know it is far too common. That is one reason why I decided to hunt the timber. Get a mile from any motorized road or trail and you never see these type of hunters.
As far as Hutterites go, it's hard to beat their turkeys come thanksgiving time.
I do like easton's bowhunting with Fred Eichler he seems down to earth, but its a pityful shame of over commericalization and the all mighty dollar thats plauges our pastime.

I've watched the show a few times and find it interesting. They are a strange and different bunch. I was very dismayed by the "hunting" episode. It left a very bad taste in my mouth.

It's called catering to the WWF crowd. The ones who think its real.
There is no better friend then your best friend.
A few years ago I took a friend hunting that had not killed a deer in a few years.............. We set up over a small green field way, way, out in the woods near a creek bottom...........About the time the sun started to set he shot a nice little 6 point......... Right at dusk... a few deer came out of the creek bottom, the last one was an small basket 8 point...... The old 35 REM Marlin roared....when we got down from our climbers, he walked to his deer and I walked to mine. When I got to mine I did as I have done for over 40 years worth..... I bowed down on my knees and prayed to the God Almighty........And gave thanks......... When I got up..... the look on his face........... Just No clue..... no clue.............
