    Took the wife shooting

Took the wife out with her Beretta this morning, of course I took the CB out also. She shot 3 clips out her 40SW, then I let her shoot the CB, she was amazed, she said this gun is really smooth. Made me feel good, she says she understands why I love it so much. Of course she asked "is this thing gonna hurt me?" I responded that if she didn't put it against her shoulder (she was holding it about 1' away) it will.
Incidentally, she put almost all her shots on paper with the Beretta, the 45-70, we shot at an empty refrigerant bottle, she hit that with open sights and offhand at 50yds.

    That's great. Just great!

My wife of 30 years shoots with me every now and again, not as often as I'd like. She's very fond of my .22 Marlin 39A, and the .357 S&W 19. Not bad with the little 20 ga double either come to think of it...
