    Bear hunting in West Virginia

Has anybody here done any black bear hunting in West Virginia around the Martinsburg area? Might go later this year and heard there were some around a place called Short Mountain. Conservation numbers look good in some other areas.

No, but curious as to what type of hunting will you be doing? Spot and stalk, over bait, with dogs?

Probably spot and stalk. My son in law just got stationed in that area and were going to go and try probably sometime in December.

Yup, I'm gonna need the energy from the donuts to run from the bear.

Me, too bad the donuts don't work on elk, deer, etc. I love a good donut and my middle shows it. I had never thought of that for bear. Nice one.

More likely my nephew he is a 1/2 bubble off center when it comes to hunting.
