    Time to fess up boys!

So, what are you doing for your wives/girlfriends for Valentines? I've got a couple options here....
    1. Hot wings, she loves them and so do I
    2. Some jewelry from Macy's, (sure fire)
    3. Dinner out (risky, hard to get a seat with only 24 hours to go).....

    thanks for the help!

If you've got some sure fire option that you're going for, please feel free to fill us all in......

I say get hot wings and TAKE THEM HOME. I find that eating out on valentines day is highly overrated. I'm always upfront and explain why its stupid and even going out the day after is far superior. Way less crowd. Plus wings are one of the finer foods in life, right behind chicken fried steak.

What am I "doing" or what "would" I be doing. Since my keester is still here in Afghanistan I will have to depend on my son to buy flowers and take my dear wife out to supper. But if I were home I would be......buying flowers and taking my wife out to supper. Fortunately for me both Valentines and my wifes birthday are in the month of February so I have twice the opportunity to butter her up before my next Marlin or shooting purchase......just goshing I love my wife.

    Time to fess up boys!

Slipped out yesterday and got the card and perfume. That was sticker shock!

Only go to a place where you know the owner or else treat her at home.

We'll probably venture out in the snow to the hottest night spot in New Melle for a world's famous Liz's Half Pound Bacon Cheese Burger and a beer. No matter how crowded it is we can always get a table. Everybody in town thinks Annie is a doll. So do I! Now I just have to figure out a way to get the dogs to sleep in their kennels.

    Happy Valentine's Day!

Man, BloodGroove, sorry to hear that. That's just no good, no matter how you look at it.
So the maples formed a union
    And demanded equal rights
'The oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light'
Now there's no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
    By hatchet, axe and saw

Sorry to hear that BG. Hopefully you can turn those lemons into lemonade.

Staying home today to cook and clean house, will shampoo carpet also. Instead of roses- a vase full of dove chocolates and hershey kisses with green pipe cleaners in place of rose stems and rolled up 5$ bills in place of flowers. If i can get it all done her and my daughters will come home to a clean house, shampooed? carpet, chocolate candy and cupcakes, beef roast for supper, and a bouquet of 5$ bills instead of roses.
