If it's anything like the .30-30, it's a very nice USA made alternative indeed. I'm actually warming up to the tube fed idea. If one of those pesky little loading gate screws ever breaks in the field, your hosed unless you can get the gate out of the action. Then you're still down to a single shot rifle. I'm very interested in one myself.
For me, if it came down to choosing a Remlin or a Henry. I'd go with the Henry. I've handled the Henry's and I've handled the Remlins. Remlins are nothing compared to the Marlins built in Connecticut.
If I were looking for a new 45-70, the Henry would be where I looked. Their 30-30's have been rock solid.
