    My 1895GG. This rifle has taken two bears, two buffalo, five deer, five antelope, and four coyotes.

    Thanks! I shot it in our State SASS match this weekend and won a long range rifle, rifle match with it.

    Long story with that whole ordeal but I was happy to take home a first place plack for my efforts.

    JC,

    What sights do you have on your rifle (front and rear)? They look great!
    Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should only be able to beat you to death with it because you have fired all your bullets.

    They are Lyman #2 tang and a #17 front. With the fine rear sight and the fine front post set in the globe they work great.

    One of the older guys at the match this weekend said when he looked through them, "it's kinda like looking through a scope." I don't know about that but they do work well for the long distance stuff and they look right on the gun if you ask me. I just can't imagine trying to shoot at a small target set at 200 yards with the factory sights.

    I would like to have one of those on my 1895GS... I think those on Midway are to small to make the real diff. At least I believe so from looking at the pictures presented on Midway website...
