Gone...

At the Orlando gun show two weekends ago I was one of the first twenty in the show. Went to each of the main distributors that are there every show and I found one pound of H4198 and one box of Winchester LR (1000). I got both and they were the only ones anywhere to be found at the show. After the show my BIL and I drove over to Bass Pro, usually well stocked - no powder that I use to be found. No primers and couldn't even find any 410 shot shells.
This is way worse than experienced previously...

Same here in Austin, Texas. I shouldn't be surprised, as the peoples republic of Austin is the liberal capital of Texas.
Some stuff around here in mid-west Georgia. Prices have not jumped as of yet but probaly will in the next few weeks.
I am just happy as heck that I cast my own bullets for my rifles and handguns.
Bought 10k of 22lr a couple of months ago so I am set there.

Same here, I cast my own bullets and stocked up on primers and powder over the last several years. That along with 10k or so of 22 LR means I'm riding this one out. Until things normalize, I have sworn off gun stores and gun shows alike.
Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Larrys in Roswell was stocking the shelves with most powders....but NO primers at all ! Zias had some reloader-7 and only 1000 federal primers that were gone when I was there. Wally world.....NOTHING except a big empty cabinet. It will calm down in a couple months....at least for the most part.

Dave's in Alamogordo has plenty of whatever primers you need and two full racks of black guns as well.

It's everywhere.
I had some dummy gal claim to me, last night, on another forum, that her area (in Albuquerque, NM) had a lot of fresh stocked ammo. So I called five stores in the area, including Rio Rancho, and they were all basically sold out.
No one is immune. The only ones who have plenty of ammo on the shelves in their stores are either staunch Obango supporters, crack heads or people living in imaginary worlds with fairies, gum drops and leprechauns

Just hold out a while. The panic buying subsides about the same time as increased production catches up and then abundance once again drives prices down. There might even be some sales on overstock. How many times has this scenario played out before?
