2000-0096=0004 or 2004 model, 444SS, second S is for the cross bolt safety. It should have microgroove rifling 1 in 32. It a great rifle. it should should shoot the 265 gr fn very well and the rubber nose, well wait and see. Some shoot it very well other not so well. The 1 in 20 Ballard rifling is very good for all the 265 gr bullets.
