Which do you prefer for woods hunting and casual shooting? The various fiber optic peeps cause fits for my aging eyes & I don't really like the plain black Skinner blade, so you only have 2 options.

while I voted for the blade, but, prefer not to have the white line.

Blade for peeps, beads for V-notch
I should add that I am very interested in putting the XS blade on my 444P, but am a little skeered by the $30 price tag at Brownells.
Skinner will make you a plain blade for much less than that. It does not have the white line and it is steel so you can file it down for a fine adjustment.

I like the idea of the white line for low light and quick shooting. Is that a real advantage or imagined?Originally Posted by WyoStillhunter
It helps me because i have poor eyesight and when i take my glasses off everything is more blurry and dark but with the white blade it helps me define my aiming a little better.Originally Posted by mogwai

never tried a Blade. but when I moved up to a 3/32" Bead My Peeps were a keeper.
Marbles Fiber optic Green.
Had a lyman bead (brass) to small could not see.
What ever comes on it could not see.
I guess I am so Blind if they made a 1/4" bead I would buy it.
