    WILD WEST GUNS LEVER

Howdy all! Ive got a quick question for the experts here in 444 land. Ive been looking at the large loop levers available....and all I can seem to find are for the 1895. I like the Wild West Guns lever, but they only show one for an 1895. My pet project is a new model .444 that Ive installed a XS rail and peep sights on. Do yall think the 1895 lever will work as long as its for the pistol grip stock? Thanks a lot...and I will be posting pictures soon!

Look at a wolf, look at a deer, look at a human, look at a black bear. The 30-30 was designed to be the most efficient caliber to down any of them within the range you would most commonly encounter such creatures.

Nah... I believe I can handle it. A buddy of mine put a DRC on his and all we had to do was drive the pin out of the lever where the plunger is and install it on the new lever before it was put back in. This one might be a little more tricky though. Ive been a hobby gunsmith for about 15 years now...so maybe it wont be too hard.

Got a DRC on my 1895 Marlin. All you have to do is remove the lever like when you clean it & pop in the new lever. No smithing needed.

    Re: WILD WEST GUNS LEVER

Well I got it in today and installed it on the .444. Man this one was definitely not a drop in. I had to do a lot of filing and fitting to get it to cycle smoothly. Luckily I had a small enough punch to get the pin out of the detent on the lever to install on the new one. The new one didnt have one. After a couple hours she cycles smooth and looks great too! Anybody have any tips on a quick reblue on the places I had to file? Thanks yall!
