UPDATE - MEMBER VERY SAVAGE-- HOW TO HELP !!!!
I spoke at some length with Ken's wife (Ida) about 30 minutes ago in Grand Prarie, Alberta. Ken is still in Edmonton (300 miles from home) trying to recuperate from a bone marrow transplant & chemo. He is very weak. The last round of chemo damaged his kidneys so he is on dialysis. His hearing is affected & mentally he has slowed down. He's expected to remain there for about 10 more weeks. His wife & daughter remain in Grande Prarie.
He would love to hear from anyone on Marlinowners; particularly Team Members. His tel is: 780-407-6130 (right at his bedside).
I ask all who gather here to pray hard for Ken & his family!

Ken is in a tough spot, for sure. I'll be making that phone call and adding Ken to the prayer list at St. Matthew's Episcopal Cathedral.

I just had the extreme pleasure of talking with Ken a few minutes ago. He has been fighting this big C crap for a long time but he is tough enough!! He said he expects to be in the hospital for another month and a half. He was up and around taking a walk earlier but has an IV attached to fight infection etc so he is slightly hobbled by having to put up with that thing.
His message to you all is "Don't Miss".
Give him a call when you can as he could use the support I know. Let me warn you of something though. He sounds like a Damn Yankee. :lol:
