Has there ever been a 444 made in Bolt-action?

Yep.. Not sure about the 444.. but Gibbs Rifle Company I believe did one in 45/70 a few years back..

I've heard of one being done on a Siamese Mauser action a couple of years ago. Don't remember many details though.

I really don't think I will get one, I just had always heard that bolt-actions are more accuract then Lever's. So, I was wondering; how much better a bolt 444 would be over a lever 444?

Take a look at Ranch Dogs Postal Match .. them levers are shooters..

You can easily have one built on a Mauser action. I have had both 45-70 and 35 Whelen that were built on Mausers. Don't know what the bolt face work would take but don't think it would be very hard.
