My wife is a mod at a site with these issues and she says they can verify if IP address is the same under different user name.
    Thanks for patrolling, Jay.

What Is The .35 Remington Advantage III

Hi David, just filled up my truck today and calculated the mileage to be 12.2 mpg.
Is there any simple way to improve that number via maintenance? What will have the best impact on improving mileage on a 21-year-old 5.7 liter SFI engine with nearly 270,000 miles on it?

Thanks Dave. This has to be an older NIB Uberti Cattleman. It doesn't appear to be a newer Uberti Cimarron Model P due to the printing I saw on the box. It should have gone for more moola when comparing this pistol to Uberti 32-20s I have seen sold on GB during the past year.

Tom and ia (steve). I tuned into that one this morning myself. Like Tom I didn't have time to bid
before it outreached my wallet. The report on the bore makes me feel a little bit better.

Tire pressure is the top thing to do. Run them a little higher than the door sticker. Read max pressure at the side wall of the tire and do not exceed the max pressure for the tire. Higher pressure will allow the tire to run cooler, last longer and improve fuel economy. Lower tire pressure will give you a soft smooth ride and better traction. I run 10 ply E load range tires. 60-80 psi for over the road trips and 33 psi for tire chain operation.

Griff in your climate I think the synthetics would have very little effect on fuel consumption. Accelerate slower, avoid prolonged idling. Buy fuel with higher BTU numbers. Good luck finding suppliers giving that info away.
