Just got a new 336 Marlin in 30-30 calibre. Trying to determine sight picture. I assume the front blade should rest right at the bottom of the"V" nock rear sight. I hope this explains what I mean. Would appreciate any pictures to give me a starting point.
If it'a a flat top blade I put the top level with the top of the rear sight horizontal part.

If it's at the bottom of the V it's a"fine bead". Otherwise it's a "coarse bead". Depends on how owner sighted it in and type of bullet.
