You know guys, there is nothing saying that even if you have a safe, you can't leave it unlocked. Plus that way you have quick access if you need it. If I am going to be home a few days in a row, sometimes I'll leave the door closed but unlocked, that way I have my pick of my heart's desire. Mine is in my basement, no windows and the sucker weighs 500+ lbs. empty. Plus no outside access from the basement.
I know what you mean about the fewer (choke!) guns. My wife is a schoolteacher and after no summer dough (even though we always put some aside) and the bills are all paid, she'll come out every so often with you don't "need" any more guns, you can olny shoot one at a time! Of course after 34 years of wedded bliss I can tell you what will happen if I ask her to apply the same reasoning to her shoes, clothes, etc.! Can you spell wimp?

There is no better friend then your best friend.
Yeah, there is a 12 gauge behind my unlocked truck seat and no one seems interested .
