Hey Dogs, it is simply because we do not read what the questioners want to know. I have been guilty at times too. jack
Jack.
This I-pad knows what I want to say and how to spell better than I do. Sometimes I catch it's mistakes, sometimes I don't.

Yea,,,, me too Jack.
I just wanted to know what the dang trajectry was.
Already know how to sight a rifle in. LOL
Randy,,,,,, you can keep them skeeter, gators, chigars and all the rest.
I just shoot em from my porch.
Hardest part is making sure they're uphill from the skinning shed, cause if the grass is wet, they slide down there all by themselves.
This old Doe's got a crippled leg, but she still manages twins most years.
I been eating one of em for the last eight years, and come Nov. I plan to continue that tradition.

Field sports are not about targets and scores. Score-keeping is necessary in competitions between humans, unattractive in competitions with weaker adversaries. Constant scores of many to zero do not smell of struggle and chance. They smell of greed.

I've not used my 35Rem Texan yet, but my 356Win throws these same bullets a bunch faster and I'm feeling nothing but excitement - no painful recoil, and I'm not fond of recoil at all. I don't shoot magnum rifles for two reasons; the first is I don't need them and the second is I don't like all the bang and crash. I like my shoulder right where it is.

If you find the .35Rem recoil a little heavy for you try a Pachmayer Limbsaver replacement buttplate.

I have my 35 sighted in with apetures @25m and shoot out to 200m with it out to 150 I don't hold over and only about 10" at 200. I use a 200grn cast boolit doing 1850fps. Hope this helps and you enjoy the new rifle.

This is the ballistics calculator I use. The more information you put into the equation, the better your calculation will be.

With the 35 Rem at under 100 yards, you won't need a calculation.
The one thing no one has addressed is the issue of a taller front sight. Most aperture sights are a bit higher than factory rear sights.
Have fun finding out where she shoots.
