    Longmire

If anyone watched it on A&E the other night did you notice he was totin a lever gun throughout the show? Was anyone able to ID it? It looked almost like a model 92 Winnie, but I never got a real good look at it...could have been a straight handled 336, but I never got a look at the ejection port.
Not a terrible show, but the murder he was investigating was committed by someone that was using a 45-70...and I love the way TV automatically knew it was a Sharps..sorry Guide Gun guys, but you were left out of the investigation. AND..imagine this...they knew it was a single shot and took about 5 seconds to reload....all of this from finding just the recovered slug. Best part of the show is it is filmed in Wyoming...or at least takes plac ethere...so the scenery is great.

The pilot episode aired Sunday night at 10:00pm est. Not a bad show.

the only thing that may be abd about it is that it may interfere with "The Walking Dead" when it starts back up in the fall. TWD may be on at 9:00 though...they just need to give Daryl a lever gun though...suits him better.

We watched and enjoyed it... I had the same discussion with my wife when they decided it had to be a sharps - told her it was more likely a Marlin Guide Gun.

Anyway, really enjoyed the show, hope they can keep it up.

We all know that it wasn't one of Scotts guide guns, i'm sure that the ports would leave striations in the bullet.
