Good article. Nice to see the 336 get some proper recognition. Although, we all knew it was the best of the bunch. That's why we're here.
Too bad the Freedom group got ahold of Marlin. In my mind they will never be the same. I must be getting old, because they don't make em like the used too.

It is well deserved by the Connecticut built 336s.
Believe it or not my brother-in-law just bought a NIB JM stamped 336 from the Wally World up in either Newberry or Greenwood, SC - my sister is not sure. Evidently it was last of several they had put out, one at a time, that they had stashed away back in their holy of holies. Lucky find. $291.00.
