Congrats getting it back, it is a nice looking rig.
Glad she is back home, sounds like a horrible ordeal.

I, too, am glad to see that you got your Marlin back. I remember you posting this thread back when and I am still thinking how stupid/irresponsible can a gun shop owner be for doing such a thing? My neighbor's dog is smart enough to know "felonies on your record" equals "no guns allowed" .
Glad to hear of a good ending to this story. Enjoy having it back where it belongs, take care. Just keep on keeping on.

Nice rifle! As far as the mess. I wish I had that much space in my man cave to make messy!
They hold it prisoner in Gitmo, with the other terrorists. Yep you have to toe the line with the likes of Holder in the top cop job, then even I know you can't have a convicted felon working in an FFL, even if he did serve his time and got released rehabilitated. 2nd Amendment does not apply to felons.

That is one fine lookin' rifle!! I have a 336 in .30-30 and I really want a .35!!
Good to hear your legally owned property was returned but I would consider changing your LGS. He showed very poor judgement in employing a convicted felon, even if it was his son.

I understand everyone's opinion regarding my LGS's decision to allow his son to work in his shop but I'm having a hard time remaining angry with him since at about the same time as the ATF raid he was diagnosed with ALS and is on our Maker's short list now. Thanks for the welcome home for my 35 Rem, all. I will be posting pics of my new (to me) 444s soon.Traded away a Remington R-1 1911 for it yesterday. Although the R-1 was a nice gun, I decided that I simply didn't want anything built by Remington.
