New Guy, here! I've lurked for a little while and read some posts that helped me on my build. I figured I'd wait to introduce myself until I had the Marlin in my hands.
My name's John, I'm 25 (Veteran of the Army) and currently going to college in Bozeman, Montana.
Marlin 336 chambered in .30-30 with Advanced Armament Cyclone suppressor. I haven't shot it yet, but hopefully on Friday!
Cool! Can you take before & after video with sound so we can listen to the difference?
From a fellow seldom poster who LOVES the info I get from this board, welcome!
Freedom is the oxygen of the soul.
Are you shooting reduced loads? Very interested on how much it helps out with the report.
That is a very interesting looking 336! A little tacti-cool but I like it!. Like CaliCoastie asked, are you shooting reduced loads, or sub sonic or just standard velocity 30-30 ammo? Either way I bet it knocks the DB level down quite a bit.
wow, that's a first for me. i would have never thought of that...

Hello, and welcome to MarlinOwners.
That's a neat setup on your 336.
Give us some details on the build.
Is that a Red-Dot with a scout rail?
I have been thinking about putting a Red-Dot on my semi-tactical Glenfield 30A.
