    The "Y" is coming out again and was just listed on several wholeseller web sites.

    Wholesale prices are $348.99, $352, and $362.99 depending on which dealer.

    Cool.But wouldn,t be listed on Marlin,s site and been wrote up in the mags before it would be on distributers sites?

    Not at all. The "Y" ain't nothing new. Its also the fastest I've seen a rifle listed across the board indicating its not a dealer exclusive but a regular production re-run.

    Just to name a few. You might get it to pop up on Davidson's without logging in.

    Click on "gungenie" and use the pull downs "Marlin" and "336", put in your zip. clickity clickity and its the one that has no pic on the first page, click that.

    You won't see the real prices.

    I know they were out some years ago but never heard they were comin back.Is that a pre Marlin closing descision or a post closing descision?

    336Y (youth) was also called the Spikehorn I believe. Nice little rifle. May have to pick one up for the wife (she is 5'1" and prefers youth dimensions on her long guns)

    Wish they would have had it out a few months ago. I looked and could not find one for my wife. Bought a mossberg 464 brush gun. would have preferred a Marlin

    I know we all fun around and have our favorites but there really ain't a nickels difference in the performance of all these rifles be it special models, 24" barrels, capped forends, and the like.

    Its hard to beat the regular old 20"
