So I went to the range today with my 336 32 special. Every man in the room drooled over it, but there was a big problem, they didn't carry 32. special ammo. Does anyone know where I can get 32's at a good price and quantity? I used google to find 32s, but there's so many options I'm not sure what to get. Can someone help me?

Winchester loads it as does Hornady if you can find it. Your best bet is to get into reloading.

Walmart . True Value Hardware Stores sell it here.. as do all gun shops

Remington seems to be the most common around here. Most well stocked gun shops will have them.

Walmart and Kmart are nonstarters here. Dunhams and Farm and Fleet stock it at a fair price. Sportsmans Guide is the cheapest on line source.

If you can, try the Hornady LeverEvolution stuff. Simply awesome.

Yes, reloading is the long term solution to your problem.
Come And Take It
A couple years ago I called my local Walmart and asked if they stocked .32 Winchester Special. The guy said "sure", so I drove down. I asked for a box at the counter, and he promptly handed me a box of .32 Auto, Winchester brand. When I explained the difference, he said he guessed he'd never heard about .32 Win Spl.
I bought a bunch of once fired cases, as well as new cases, at a gun show. I just roll my own.
I guess I should have mentioned I live in New York. I figured reloading would be my most reliable option. I guess I'm going to have a new hobby along with my new hobby.
I'll try calling walmarts and other department stores around here. Dick's sporting goods didn't have them, though I'm pretty sure he didn't know what I was talking about to begin with. Biggest problem with my area is most of the stores don't have guns/ammo anymore.
Thanks for the advice!
Also, a couple of pictures of my new friend.
