    How many rifles in this model and in this caliber were made and what years ?

    Has my interest piqued as well. Also makes me wonder if a 336 can be fitted with a spiral tube mag so that I can have a little better of a bullet selection.
    The world is much better with a pair of calipers.

    Check your earlier post, greenfox. This was never a production item, and the few they made - if that many - were turned out in the ealy 70's. There is a picture extant of Carmichael with an antelope he downed with the Marlin 250-3000. Maybe someone more computer literate can find it.

    Any appearance of a spiral magazine tube on any Marlin rifle is - in my estimation - wishful thinking.
