Gunbroker just had one go for $304+ffl and shipping so i'd say $250 out the door is a fair price. i think almost any marlin under $300 is a great deal. just my thoughts.

    Thanks.....
I am going to look at it today. Don't need another 336 .30-30 though. I just bought that Texan .30-30 last month, but I hate to pass up a deal on a 336. I'll let you know after I see it.

    Re: 100th anniversary .30-30??

When you think about it, any Marlin in at least fair shape is a good buy for under $300. Even the prices of new Marlins are a very good deal, considering the prices of other guns on the market. I only have 3 Marlins that I have paid over $300, and one was a new 1894C, the other a 336A in 35 Remington that I really wanted.

As far as I know there is no special or collectors value to the 100 anniversary edition.

However as previously stated a good condition 336 for $250 is a good deal!

I have never passed on any 336 for a $100.00 . It has been a day or two since I came across one that cheap thow. I think you ment $200.00 .

I'd buy any shootable Marlin that still had a finish at that price. They're as scarce as hen's teeth around here.
