    First lever action!

Guess my wife's nephew got tired of me borrowing a rifle to go to deer camp up north (MI) so when he got line on a 35 remington he tipped me off.
    Love at first sight.

Scope is just tasco 4x32 (prolly original?) All in all seems unmolested. Taking it to the range this weekend; if she shoots true then I got a keeper. ; )

Nice score! I wouldn't mess with the scope until you try it out. I know many folks will say "you get what you pay for" when it comes to scopes but I have good luck with budget scopes for short to medium distances which is what most of these lever guns are made for.
