    Marlin 36 - A - DL

    Just bought this gun in 30-30 and was wanting to know it's age.

    Congrats on your new gun,,,, but we will need a bit more info to date it or place an aproximate value on it. Seen them go for $250 & seen them go for 6 or 7 hundred.
    Whats the first few digits of the serial#, that should get a date, pics will get guestimates on value.

    Sorry I forgot the serial # on the first post it's c6315. I have $175.00 in the gun and was wondering if it would be worth it to fix it up.

    It was made in 1946. IMO its well worth fixing up. Whats it need?

    How about a few Pics?

    I wouldnt hesitate to reblue a 36 as long as I could get a good job done. Do you know of a good gunsmith near you?
