Well of course I thought about that, however, these ADL 35's show such variation in price that I really don't know the 'value' or worth. When in doubt I just put on auction and let the pictures sell itself. My ad has less pictures than I usually show. Might put some more pictures - I want to show what it is instead of me trying to describe in words.
No offense to anyone here, just did not know what it should have been priced at.

Might consider selling my NO1, 270. Killed my largest lower 48 buck with it in 1992. Hasn't been fired since then, but well kept. I have too many choices to take to the woods. Twist my arm and I may put it on the block. Would love the folks here to have first choice.

Marlins and Ruger number 1S are both a sickness. I sold a couple of Marlins and a Ruger #1, I will never do either again! I wish my wife had a cedar chest to sell, I can live comfortably in my shop! I almost forgot... T/C Contenders and Encores are another type of sickness as well... I am really sick and proud of it!

Guess I will just keep the #1. I tend to retire them once bloodied, with a few exceptions. Makes it fun to clean them and relive the hunt. The venison roast tonight was with a crossbow. Maybe they are all priceless. Just rambling, but that is part of it for me.

I'm using a crossbow this season, too. I used to think they were not what a real hunter would use... but then thought about how I've used everything else but a spear so why not! They all are just our 'tools of the trade'.
Nice Ruger #1AB 270, (right ?). Do you still have the original factory stock??

Ruger #1 in 35 Whelen is one of my dream guns along with Low Wall in 260 Rem or 6.5 Swede.
