I am really haveing a hard time keeping the lever engaged on my 336. I have 2 - 336, 30/30 and
1 of them lever stayes locked in place during handling , moving , walking and bumping the stock.
.
My other 336 lever will not stay locked in place , just the slightest bump and the lever disengages the lever.
I think this is dangerous as well I cant trust the gun. I also took it to a local dealer/smith .
He told me this is normal . This in my opinion is not normal . I tryed to explain to him I have 2 of these and 1 is a great gun and stays engaged . ( also I think ammmo in the gun increases the tension and causes the lever to open easer) . I have tryed different ammo. This does not seem to be the case .
Please if anyone has any suggestions , please help........ I have got no where with Marlin customer service. ( is this the ammo feed issue I have found on the net . ? ) Help..........................
