chamber adapters for .30-30 to .32H&R

I have a not so old, non collectable, beat up and have rusted out marlin 336 that i picked up locally for 150.00. The good news is, I always wanted something exactly like this as my truck gun, that I could mod as I wished and not worry about abusing one of my prestine rifles.

Anyone have any idea if those chamber inserts to .32 H&R will cycle through the action of a .30-30? if so, I may buy a few and throw them in for lighter game. (I dont currently reload)

    Thanks to all in advance!

I've never thought of using a chamber adapter but just looking at MCA Sports CHAMBER ADAPTERS web page they look like a standard cartridge case. I would imagine the only way to know for sure if it'll cycle properly would be to try it. You might be able to try it with some spent cases to give you an idea if it'll work. My .35 Remington will chamber a spent case with no issues if I drop it in the receiver but I've never tried feeding them from the magazine.Stu

I am interested also. Be sure to let us know how it works, if you try it.

Might be worth a try in my Savage #24 30-30/20ga over and under. The 55gr 30-30 accelerators shoot good in it but print nine inches high at 50yd when the rifle zeroed with Fed 170's.I might give one a try.

I'm stationed in Korea right now with no guns. Could one of you chaps with some empty brass load your mags and try to cycle the action? let me know what you find. The adapters are just like empty brass.

I had one in 32 S&W for the 30-06. It worked well to about 100m. My middle son now has it.
