Re: Anyone reload for the 219 Zipper??

I've never even seen a Zipper round, but here's the Hornady data from the 7th edition - seems completely unchanged from at least the 5th. These are the max loads, 27" barrel, 1:14 twist, Remington reformed 30/30 brass. These are all spitzer bullets, so you know the cautionary 'word' on tubular magazines.

    45 grain, COL 2.385"

    H4198 24.9 grains 3600 fps
    IMR 3031 27.8 gr 3600 fps
    Ball C2 29.1 gr 3600 fps
    H4895 29.6 gr 3600
    IMR 4064 28.2 gr 3400 fps
    IMR 4320 30.2 gr 3600 fps

    60 grain, COL 2.410"

    H4198 23.5 gr 3200 fps
    IMR 3031 25.8 gr 3200 fps
    Ball C2 26.6 gr 3200 fps
    H4895 27.4 gr 3200
    IMR 4064 28.3 gr 3300 fps
    IMR 4320 29.4 fps 3300 fps
    H380 31.1 gr 3300 fps.

I've got the 52-53 and 55 gr info if you need it, but my one-finger typing has worn me down. . .

Thanks biku324,That would be quite helpful as I do have a number of bullets in that weight range for my 223's.I can make up a variety of loads and see what the rifle likes. My cases are formed from new WW 25-35,resized and shortened.
